bio-TIP Program


Do you need to upgrade your workers’ skills but lack the necessary support? Would you like to learn more about how to access State training dollars for your bioscience company in Illinois? If so, contact us today!

DCEO is now offering the Biotech Training Investment Program (bio-TIP) to help advance the skills of employees working in biotech/bioscience careers. bio-TIP reimburses employers up to 50 percent of the costs of training, not to exceed $5,000, to help train graduate students seeking biotech industry experience who find part-time employment as lab technicians/engineers. bio-TIP also helps cover training costs for existing full-time employees who are interested in upgrading their skills.

Innovation Challenge Technical Assistance and Matching Grant Programs

Do you have an innovative idea but lack the necessary support to develop it? Would you like to learn more about how to access over $2 billion in Federal research and development grants for small businesses? If so, contact us today!

DCEO is now offering the Innovation Challenge Technical Assistance Program to help connect your small business with Federal SBIR/STTR grant opportunities. The Technical Assistance Program provides your business with access to specialists who can identify grant opportunities and assist with the grant writing process.

Additionally, DCEO is offering the Innovation Challenge Matching Grant Program, which connects your innovative technology-based business with critical funding by providing up to a 50 percent match on Phase I SBIR/STTR grant awards.
