The Illinois Science and Technology Park, located in
Skokie, just north of downtown Chicago, is comprised of
two million square feet of existing and to-be-built
research and office space, available for lease. The park
will help create Illinois' new technology transfer hub.
Currently under redevelopment, this campus should create
almost 20,000 jobs (direct and ripple effect) and generate $3.6 billion annually
for Illinois' economy. DCEO, in partnership with Forest
City Enterprises, plans to increase product development
capacity by outfitting the space for large companies,
small innovators, medical institutions and universities
so they may all conduct business from one location.
